Position Details

Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor

The Early Childhood Improvement Branch ensures a dedicated team supports early childhood services in Areas. The role of the Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor role involves building partnership relationships with a range of service providers and developing the capacity of these service providers to deliver quality programs within their local communities, particularly for more vulnerable children and families. The role will require high level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

An exciting ongoing full-time opportunity is available to join the high functioning Early Childhood Improvement Branch (ECIB) in Southern Melbourne Area (based in Dandenong) as a VPS4 Early Childhood Performance and Planning Adviser, 1.0 FTE Ongoing.

This role, within our team, is to support the portfolio of access and participation of children and families within early years services. The role will require supporting a Senior Early Childhood Performance and Planning advisor with programs such as Best Start, Early Start Kindergarten (ESK) and the Culturally and Linquistically Diverse (CALD) programs and supports. In addition this work will also support ECIB's workforce portfolio, including processing alternative funding arranangements applications. A key aspect of the ECPAPA role is building relationships with early years' service providers and developing the capacity of these service providers to deliver quality early childhood programs within their local communities, particularly for more vulnerable children and families.
