The Kindergarten Improvement Advisor will need to draw on past experience and knowledge in an early learning context, administration of early childhood services and curriculum delivery. To be successful in this role you should have excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, analytical skills, and possess a strong understanding of quality pedagogical practices. You will play a lead role in improving the quality of early learning experiences for educationally disadvantaged children.

Position Details

Kindergarten Improvement Advisor - Ongoing / Full Time

A new and exciting opportunity has become available to join the Mallee Early Childhood Improvement Branch as a Kindergarten Improvement Advisor. This ongoing role is a 1.0 FTE and can be located in either the Mildura or Swan Hill offices.

Working in a high-performing team, you will be a highly self-motivated team player providing responsive early childhood advice and support to kindergartens and other key stakeholders across local government areas in Mallee. The successful applicant will be able to provide specialist advice on change management and quality pedagogical practices, and influence practices through evidence-based strategies.

You will consult, liaise with and influence key stakeholders, find innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues, and apply extensive knowledge of the early childhood sector and the local community to inform decisions and advice to stakeholders.

The role requires leadership skills, well developed problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. The ability to form strong relationships and networks with early childhood providers is essential.
