The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage the regional Operations and Emergency Management Unit, overseeing the delivery of business planning, facilities management, administrative and human resources services to the region and advice to government schools on OH&S, facilities, school operations and student transport matters where appropriate.

Position Details

The role is responsible for leading the regional emergency management in respect to planning, preparation, response and recovery, including ensuring relevant staff are trained to activate the region's Emergency Management team and contribute to the review and development of emergency management policies and procedures in consultation with central office. The role promotes and maintains strong relationships with Infrastructure and Finance Services Group and People and Executive Services Group and government schools in the region.
