Professional Practice Leader

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated team player with skills and experience in the profession of Social Work to develop the practice of Health, Allied Health and Educational professionals who support children and young people in schools and early childhood settings. The Professional Practice Leader will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of Professional Practice Leaders to respond to Area, Regional and State-wide emerging trends and play a significant role in the development, design and implementation of state-wide or regional projects that align to the DET priorities.

Professional Practice Leader

Being able to think and plan at a strategic level as well as at the implementation level is vital for this role. The Professional Practice Leader Community Participation and Engagement will work across DET Areas, Divisions and Groups and with other agencies that provide support or intervention for children and young people so that a coordinated and effected approach to improving the practice and outcomes of young people is developed.
