Position Details

 Senior Wellbeing and Engagement Officer

- Fixed term fulltime

The successful applicant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support school communities in the Barwon and Wimmera South West Areas, based in the Geelong office. The position plays a key role in supporting some of the most vulnerable students, including those residing in Out of Home Care, Koorie, and children and young people at risk of disengagement or disengaged from education.

 

The Senior Wellbeing and Engagement Officer provides advice regarding relevant Department of Education and Training programs and policies and works collaboratively with others to broker solutions in the most complex of individual health and wellbeing cases.

 

To succeed in this role the applicant will require experience working with children and young people to improve their outcomes, particularly those who are most vulnerable and present with complex and challenging needs.
