Early Childhood Performance and Planning Adviser – VPS5

An exciting position is available in the Department of Education and Training for an experienced and enthusiastic applicant for an ongoing Early Childhood Performance and Planning Adviser role in South Western Victorian Region, based in the Barwon Area. 

The position is responsible for implementing Government priorities including program reform and policy in relation to Early Childhood and managing and monitoring service agreements with Early Childhood service providers with a focus on performance and quality improvement. The role of the Early Childhood Performance and Planning Adviser involves monitoring service agreements and building partnership relationships with a range of service providers to develop their capacity to deliver quality programs within their local communities, particularly for more vulnerable children and families. 

This role requires leadership skills and well development program solving and stakeholder management skills. The ability to form strong relationships and networks with early childhood providers is essential. The role will involve leading key initiatives with providers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. 

A relevant tertiary qualification in early childhood, primary health, community development or a related field is highly desirable.
