Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor

This Department of Education and Training position is in South Western Victorian Region, based in the Brimbank Melton Area, located in Keilor. As a VPS 5 Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor, you will build partnership relationships with a range of service providers, monitor the providers compliance with the relevant department funding and program guidelines and work with them to deliver quality programs within their local communities, particularly for more vulnerable children and families. You will also be responsible for providing advice to senior staff on early years matters and in supporting the implementation of the Early Years Reform. This exciting role requires interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

An exciting position is available in the Department of Education and Training for a fixed term Early Childhood Performance and Planning Adviser role in South Western Victorian Region, based in the Brimbank Melton Area.

The role of the Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor role involves building relationships with a range of service providers, monitor the providers compliance with relevant funding and program guidelines and developing the capacity of these service providers to deliver quality programs within their local communities, particularly for more vulnerable children and families. You will also be responsible for providing advice to senior staff on early years matters and in supporting the implementation of the Early Years Reform.

The role requires high level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

A relevant tertiary qualification in early childhood, primary health, community development or a related field is highly desirable.
