Specialist Children's Services (SCS) is a program within the Health, Wellbeing and Specialist Services Branch in the South-Western Victoria Region providing support to families, caregivers and early childhood educators of children with a disability or developmental delay from birth to school entry.

SCS has a full time, fixed term position (13/11/2017 – 31/12/2018) available for an Early Childhood Intervention Services Practitioner in the Brimbank/Melton team based at the Keilor Office.

This role involves working with and through children's families, caregivers and early childhood educators to provide children with experiences and opportunities that promote the acquisition of competencies that enable children to participate meaningfully in home and community environments.

You will be welcomed as a member of a supportive transdisciplinary team. The role will suit an allied health worker from one of the following disciplines: Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapist, Educational Adviser, Psychologist, or Social Worker with an interest in working with young children with additional needs and their families.

This is an exciting opportunity to have an impact on the Department's vision to develop an integrated approach to learning and development for all Victorian children and their families from birth to adulthood.
