This Department of Education and Training position is in South Western Victorian Region, based in the Wimmera South West Area, located in Horsham. As a VPS5 Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor, you will build partnership relationships with a range of service providers, monitor the providers compliance with the relevant department funding and program guidelines and work with them to deliver quality programs within their local communities, particularly for more vulnerable children and families. You will also be responsible for providing advice to senior staff on early years matters and in supporting the implementation of the Early Years Reform. This exciting role requires interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

An exciting position is available in the Department of Education and Training for an experienced and enthusiastic applicant for an ongoing Early Childhood Performance and Planning Adviser role in South Western Victorian Region, Wimmera South West Area, located in Horsham.

As a VPS5 Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor, you will build partnership relationships with a range of service providers, monitor the provider's compliance with the relevant department funding and program guidelines and work with them to deliver quality programs within their local communities, particularly for more vulnerable children and families.  You will also be responsible for providing advice to senior staff on early years matters and in supporting the implementation of the Early Years Reform

The role will require high -level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, along with experience in project management.  A relevant tertiary qualification in early childhood, primary health, community development or a related field is highly desirable.
