An exciting opportunity exists for a Psychologist to work with Student Support Services in the Brimbank Melton Area - Melton Team. The successful applicant will be required to provide a range of psychological supports to schools within the area. Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and the capability to work autonomously when required are key requirements for this position. Accountabilities include; Providing psychology support services to school age students to improve student learning; Working with other Allied Health professionals to undertake wellbeing interventions that support students and schools; Assisting the coordination of student support services within a multi-disciplinary team; Assessing student needs, developing case plans and implement appropriate action from a range of accepted options.

Fixed Term - Full time

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly self-motivated team player to provide a comprehensive psychological service to schools in the Brimbank Melton Area – Melton Team by providing high-level professional advice to principals and school networks that strongly influence student wellbeing policy within a school network. The successful applicant will initiate, develop and implement student wellbeing programs within a school network, as well as provide leadership within the Student Support Services team. This will include managing service delivery across the network and contributing to professional supervision and direction to other members of the team.

The successful applicant will be able to provide advice that will influence the development of teaching and learning strategies, prepare policy advice for consideration by the school network leadership team, as well as possess sound written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
