SSS Psychologist

The purpose of Student Support Services is to assist children and young people facing a range of barriers to learning to achieve their educational and developmental potential through the provision of a range of strategies and specialised support at individual, group, and school levels. The successful applicant will initiate, develop and implement student wellbeing programs within a school network, as well as provide leadership within the Student Support Services team. You will provide expert advice that will influence learning strategies, prepare policy advice for consideration by school leadership teams, as well as possess sound written and verbal communication as well as analytical skills. As a SSS Psychologist you will identify and develop strategies to build capability of principals and teachers.

The position has a key role to help school communities manage critical incidents in schools and facilitate psychological recovery of those impacted and their return to wellbeing.
