Senior Project Officer

The position calls for a skilled Senior Project Officer with extensive communications and digital product marketing experience who will support the ongoing adoption of digital learning tools, systems and resources. The successful applicant will have an understanding of technology and its use in the Victorian education setting to be able to lead an extensive communications campaign to both and internal and external stakeholders. In addition, a key focus for the successful delivery and adoption of the digital roadmap will be underpinned by a strategic communications approach.

Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Communications professional to join the Digital Learning Services Unit, Tech Schools and Digital Learning Branch. This is a 0.8 FTE ongoing opportunity. The role will commence on 1 February 2022.

The successful candidate will call on their extensive communications and digital product marketing experience to lead a range of communications activities, ensuring that the Digital Learning Services Unit are positioned as credible and reputable brand that showcases digital learning platforms, services and resources to Victorian government schools. 

Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Coordination of the strategic planning for the Unit's marketing and communication activities and preparation of associated marketing plans and briefings
  • Project management of reform projects that are school facing such as the re-positioning of our collaboration platforms
  • Ongoing management of the Unit's website presence and collateral development including overall positioning, content and design
  • Internal and external stakeholder management to develop webbased and written communication materials and presentations for Digital-focused projects
  • Project management of internal and external-facing events, and related communications and stakeholder management activities
