Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for a 3 year role within the Digital Learning Services Unit of DET. 

This role will involve the application of expertise in the development of Minecraft E:E-based projects with a strong pedagogical experience base that results in the implementation of a full Minecraft program for Schools. It will involve partnership formation and management with other Victorian Government departments/agencies for the further development of virtual worlds such a Mini Melbourne.

It will also involve the development and publication of learning and teaching resources for the classroom that engage schools in the innovative use of Minecraft across the Victorian Curriculum. There will be a strong emphasis on the delivery and support of programs of professional learning that support teachers capacity to delivery Minecraft as a powerful learning and teaching tool.
