Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for a full time fixed term VPS4 Project Officer within the School Health Programs and Services Team.

The School Health Programs and Services Team has responsibility for an important range of programs and services that support the health and wellbeing of students in Victorian government schools. These programs include Doctors In Secondary Schools, School Nursing, Speech Pathology, Medical Intervention Support Program and Schoolcare.

The role of Project Officer will involve providing program and project support to the School Health Programs and Services team. You will be involved in coordinating a range of activities and projects, including program planning, implementing and reporting. The role will mainly provide project support to School Nursing initiatives, but will also support other School Health Programs and Services, such as the Schoolcare and Medical Intervention Support Programs. You will have strong program and project experience, specifically in event coordination, developing communication materials, and administration support. Knowledge and experience of the Victorian health, human services and education systems and an understanding of health issues facing our young people will also be an advantage.

The role reports to the Manager, School Health Programs and Services.
