Executive Assistant

This is an ongoing position which provides administrative support to the Executive Director, Learning, Teaching and Pathways Division. The Executive Assistant coordinates the day to day operations of the office and the flow of business in the Division through to the Executive Director. Duties include managing calendar, emails and phone enquiries; managing the flow of briefings and other items; and assigning, tracking and monitoring briefings and correspondence within the division. The Executive Assistant will also identify and implement more efficient business and administrative practices and processes to support continuous improvement.

Position Details

This is an ongoing opportunity for an executive assistant to the Executive Director, Learning, Teaching and Pathways Division.

The Executive Assistant will operate in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for coordinating the day to day operations and the flow of business in the Division through to the Executive Director Duties include:

  • managing the Executive Director's calendar, emails, and phone enquiries
  • managing the flow of briefings and other items to the Executive Director
  • assigning, tracking and monitoring briefings and correspondence within the division
  • identifying and implementing more efficient business and administrative practices and processes to support continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised; be able to build and maintain strong relationships in order to manage competing needs and achieve desired results and timely action from others; have strong communication skills; and have the ability to effectively and efficiently work through problems.
