Senior Reporting Analyst

The purpose of this role is to support analytical tasks related to the design and production of school reporting products, and responding to ad-hoc data requests. This position will require an understanding of the education system, advanced understanding of analysing complex datasets, and customer service skills to deliver information products and manage data requests. The role tasks include extracting data, data linkage, undertaking basic data analysis and liaising with clients about data requests.

Position Details

This Senior Reporting Analyst role is located within the School Reporting and Data Services Unit within Performance and Evaluation Division.

The purpose of this role is to support the production of timely, accurate and high quality statistical reports and respond to ad hoc data requests. The role's tasks include extracting data, linking data, undertaking basic data analysis and liaising with clients about data requests. The Senior Reporting Analyst will also be involved in the development of new data reporting processes and user acceptance testing of new data products.

The role requires experience working with large datasets in SQL and advance Excel skills.
