Executive Coordinator

In DET’s Strategy and Performance Group, the Executive Coordinator has wide ranging responsibilities supporting the Deputy Secretary, the Group’s executive team, and the broader Group. This is a great opportunity to play a lead role in a high performing group—to support and be part of the executive leadership team, and to work with staff across the Group and the Department. To succeed in this role, you will be a strategic thinker, organised and a problem solver, highly adept at providing advice, and effective at building and maintaining relationships with senior leaders and staff. Position Details

The Executive Coordinator is based in the Office of the Deputy Secretary in the Strategy and Performance Group.

The role provides high level organisational, strategic and administrative support to the Deputy Secretary, Strategy and Performance Group. This includes preparing materials for the Deputy Secretary, quality assuring the intent and content of briefings and correspondence for the Group, managing workflow, and liaising with senior staff in this and other Groups, the Secretary's Office and Ministers' Offices. The position also plays an important role in supporting the Group's strategic planning, organisational development, finance, knowledge management and coordination.
