Senior Project Officer - Full Time/Fixed Term until May 2022

School Review is considered a catalyst for change that supports schools to deeply analyse their performance and set goals and targets for their four year School Strategic Plan (SSP). Located in the School Review Unit this role will support the delivery of the School Review Program through leading the project and contract management of several high profile procurement activities. Key elements of the role will include leading on internal Departmental procurement processes, building and maintaining relationships with external contractors and developing policy guidance and materials to support the school review process. Success in this role will require working closely with colleagues across the Department.

Your capacity to successfully manage projects on tight timelines and develop and maintain productive relationships will be critical to the role. You will have strong conceptual and analytical ability to understand problems and design innovative solutions to complex issues. You will be an exceptional team member, collaborating and sharing amongst and beyond the team. Your communication skills, both informal and formal, will be essential to succeeding in this role. While not essential, familiarity with school improvement planning would be highly desirable.
