Position Details

The Victorian Deaf Education Institute (VDEI) is seeking to recruit a Digital Learning Project Officer to work as a
key member of the VDEI team in coordinating the delivery of inclusive education professional learning courses,
modules and eLearning resources.

In this exciting and challenging Project Officer role, you will contribute to further strengthening the capacity of the
Institute to fully support the ever-growing inclusive education online professional learning space. The role will
involve working as a key member of the VDEI team, in particular with the Technology Specialist and the Senior
Project Officer Digital Learning to support the Inclusive Education Professional Learning (IEPL) Learning
Management System (LMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

As a key contact, the Digital Learning Project Officer will work as the front-line contact, assisting learners and
delivering units with course coordination and technical and general support queries. Knowledge of editing HTML
code and experience in supporting Learning Management Systems and updating websites will be an essential
requirement for this role.

The successful applicant will demonstrate highly developed skills in conceptual and analytical ability, negotiation,
project management and written communication and the ability to develop strong working relationships with key
stakeholders, both internal and external to the Department.

The position is full-time and will be based at the Victorian Deaf Education Institute, 597 St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
