Position Details

The Pathways Manager will work with all schools within the area and key stakeholders to support implementation of the broader suite of career education and vocational pathways reforms and ensure integration and alignment with local Head Start initiative for participating schools.

The primary responsibilities of the Pathways Manager will be to:


  • Support the strategic implementation and Area accountability for the Head Start initiative.
  • Provide support to clusters of schools in the establishment phases of Head Start and creating strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including Local Learning and Employment Networks, training providers and employers.
  • Driving continuous improvement and quality in vocational learning opportunities and post-school outcomes for students, including through VET and apprenticeships and traineeships undertake by students as part of the senior secondary certificates.


The successful applicant will be located in the Barwon Area and work as part of the Area team.
