Curriculum Manager English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The purpose of this role is to provide high level expertise, professional leadership and strategic direction in relation to curriculum and assessment in English as an Additional Language (EAL) for the Victorian Curriculum F-10 and VCE. This role will work closely with the ongoing English Curriculum Manager. Major functions include: • Provision of curriculum expertise and thought leadership in the development and implementation of new Victorian Curriculum F-10 EAL • Management of the review and development VCE EAL and Auditing of School-assessed Coursework • Development of resources to support implementation of curriculum and assessment in Victoria for F-12 EAL and VCE EAL • Proactive contribution at state and national levels to discussions and planning related to future directions in EAL

This position will play a significant role in developing new and/or
refining existing curriculum in EAL.
