AIMS is the Department's new IT system that both schools and the VSBA will use to manage school assets. This is a transformative project that will drive greater accountability, transparency and efficiency in asset management. VPS6 Change Manager role - Full Time, Fixed Term until 30 June 2023

The Victorian School Buildng Authority (VSBA) was created in 2016 to manage the State Government's record investment in building new schools and early learning centres, and modernising existing ones. A key role of the VSBA is to support the effective management of school assets under the shared responsibility model. One of the initiatives being implemented to strengthen the asset management framework under which we operate is the Asset Information Management System (AIMS). AIMS is the new IT system that will be used by both schools and the VSBA for asset management and compliance activities. This is a transformative project that will drive greater accountability, transparency and efficiency in asset management.

Given the size and scale of the project, it is imperative that the rollout is accompanied by strong change management practices and users are supported through the transition. The VSBA is seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead the change management activities for this project. As the Change Manager, you will work with the broader leadership group to ensure that the transition runs smoothly and users and empowered to effectively adopt the system. This will include leading stakeholder engagement, communications, business analysis, strategy development and planning activities.

The successful candidate will have comprehensive change management experience working on complex projects. They will also have very strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build constructive relationships with staff across the VSBA and in schools. They will have good problem solving skills and the ability to work through issues to identify and implement resolutions. Finally, they will demonstrate a committmeent to the VPS values and model them in their work.
