Senior Project Officer

The Senior Project Officer roles will be based within the Portfolio Management Standards team of the Systems & Oversight Branch, within the Corporate Division of the VSBA. The VSBA Corporate Division is responsible for enabling effective and efficient education infrastructure planning and delivery, and improving organisational capability. The Systems and Oversight Branch provides an integrated source of information and leads a culture of informed decision-making, shared accountability and continuous improvement in education infrastructure delivery. The Portfolio Management Standards team provides risk, assurance, framework and procurement functions to support the VSBAs capital works and operational programs.

Position Details

Senior Project Officer X 3, VPSG5 Fixed Term Until 30/06/2024

These roles will specifically responsible for:

- Maintaining and continuously improving the VSBA's governance frameworks and assurance programs;

- Supporting the Manager to identify and prioritise portfolio level improvements across the capital program;

- Reviewing portfolio improvement measures and their effectiveness following implementation;

- Working closely with stakeholders across the VSBA to build effective and collaborative relationships;

- Preparing concise briefings, reports and correspondence for stakeholder engagement and committees.

- Supporting the coordination of external program and project reviews

- Working with suppliers and consultants to deliver System and Oversight programs
