Principal Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated individual to join a dynamic team in the Victorian School Building Authority on an on-going basis. The Strategy and Investment Unit develops advice and investment models which support key government decisions relating to school infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead the development of a new portfolio investment model.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving and analytical skills related to excel, experience in stakeholder management, a strong understanding of excel and access database tools.

Position details

The Principal Analyst will report to the Manager, Strategy and Investment Unit and be responsible for leading the development of school infrastructure investment models. This includes preparing and coordinating reports and briefings and undertaking research for projects related to asset management.

The role operates within a dynamic environment that requires a capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to support effective, timely actions.
