Position Details

The role sits within VSBA Operations & Programs Branch. This branch is responsible for delivering a range of state-wide maintenance and compliance programs, including Make Safe, Emergency Maintenance, Accessible Buildings, regulatory and compliance, asbestos removal, relocatable buildings, Inclusive Schools and Modular Buildings. This position is in the Emergency Maintenance and Accessible Buildings Program team.

The VSBA's Operations and Programs Branch is seeking applications from suitably qualified/experienced persons for the role of Senior Project Officer in the Response Programs Unit. Working in the Emergency Maintenance and Accessible Buildings team, this role requires the management and coordination of consultants and contractors to scope and deliver works of varying complexity in Government schools. The ideal candidate will have a background in program implementation and/or project management, with experience in building or construction and managing diverse stakeholders in achieving required outcomes.
