Position Details

The Contract Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Providing strategic contract management and commercial advice.
  • Forecasting and managing budgets.
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams and resources on a range of matters, such as planning and communications.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders  to manage risks, resolve issues and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Providing advice and reporting on contract planning, delivery, benefits and outcomes for a range of stakeholders, including Executive, senior managers and project teams.
  • Using expert knowledge of contract compliance and providing guidance on contract management to senior executives, including reporting on performance against KPIs, risk management and day-to-day issues.
  • Building confidence and assurance in program implementation for key stakeholders including schools, representative groups and the public.
  • Development and ongoing update of Contract Management Plans and Contract Administration Manuals.
  • Supporting the Branch in other ways as required.
