Position Details
THE ROLE
The Advanced Practitioner, Forensic Disability Statewide Access Service sits in a small team of staff responsible for managing referrals and direct requests for access to forensic disability treatment and supports delivered or funded by the department.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide assessment and advice in relation to requests for access to forensic disability treatment and supports.
- Coordinate referrals to forensic disability treatments and supports delivered by the department.
- Provide advice and opinion to professionals in other disciplines and agencies on individual clients and participate in client conferences with other professionals, including the National Disability Insurance Agency, Disability Justice Coordination Teams, Corrections Victoria, Youth Justice, Victorian Courts, Victorian Prison system, policy and mental health services and a range of external agencies and service providers.

This is an NDIS Risk Assessed Role / This is a Key Personnel Role.
Staff appointed to this role at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing may not commence in role until they have an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and have provided this detail for recording.
