Position Details
THE ROLE
The Project Officer in the Equality Programs team plays a key supporting role in the delivery of priority initiatives for Victoria's LGBTIQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex and queer) communities.
The Project Officer will be responsible for the business support and administration of the Equality Unit including coordinating briefings and correspondence, finance and invoicing, and organising systems and processes to ensure the efficient administration of the unit.
This role is suited for an individual with a background in business support or administration who is motivated to work in support of Victoria's diverse LGBTIQ+ communities
This role is a prioritised special measures position for LGBTIQ+ applicants. Anyone is eligible to apply for the position, however there is a condition that people that people with the protected attributes will be given preference during the shortlisting and recruitment process.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide high quality business administration and support to the Equality Unit that ensures the efficient and effective delivery of key initiatives within the portfolio.
- Coordinate high quality and timely briefings, correspondence and requests for information for the unit.
- Coordinate and administer finance functions and the payment of invoices for the unit.
