An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager, Aboriginal Engagement on a Full time -Ongoing basis in Corporate and Delivery Services.

The Corporate and Delivery Services division is responsible for delivering a range of strategic and operational services to clients, staff, ministerial offices, external agencies and funded organisations. It is an enabling division, supporting organisational development and performance improvement, delivering centralised finance and human resources services, management of industrial relations, the delivery of information technology services and communications plus procurement, contracting and business service functions to support the department and its Ministers to achieve their objectives. The division provides invaluable support and advice to its customer for corporate activities and is responsible for leading continuous service improvement and monitoring and reporting on the overall performance of the department's corporate functions.

The Manager, Aboriginal Engagement, provides strategic advice to strengthen Aboriginal employment and cultural safety across the department. You will apply your expertise and cultural knowledge to identify, implement and monitor actions to progress our commitment to the Aboriginal workforce strategy 2021 – 2026 and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Safety Framework, including coordinating internal governance. You will work with stakeholders from entry level to executive to influence and improve employment outcomes and build organisational cultural safety capability. The position will be part of the Aboriginal and Diversity Inclusion team and will work with the VPSC, with divisions, be part of the statewide virtual Aboriginal workforce team and provide peer support and referral to members of the Aboriginal Staff Network.
