Position Details
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, the Project Officer retrieves, analyses and processes removal records for the purpose of fulfilling the obligations of the records release component of the Stolen Generation Reparations package.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Develop and maintain a high-level of competency and good understanding of recording and reporting processes and knowledge in using the various components of departmental records management systems.
- Retrieve, analyse and process information in response to requests for records. Assess the information against relevant legislation and ensuring timeliness, quality and completeness in responses.
- Read and understand the context of information presented in complex documents.
