Position Details
THE ROLE
As part of the Community Partnerships Team Central Highlands Area West Division this position contributes to the DFFH strategic aspiration that all Victorians are safe, healthy and able to lead a life they value.
The position aims to improve the wellbeing of individuals and communities through the development of opportunities for social and economic participation and to create opportunities for individuals and families to build better lives and achieve their potential by participating in the community and economy.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- With a high level of understanding of the local context, strategically review and implement departmental initiatives and approaches that impact service delivery and service system issues and support those initiatives to meet departmental, government and community expectations.
- Act as a key source of local advice by maintaining an understanding of issues impacting communities and the service system and investigate and lead critical projects that that enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency, or improved consumer outcomes.
- Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
