POSITION SUMMARY

Senior Housing Services Officer

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Housing Services Officer on a Fixed term - Full time basis within the Client Support and Housing Services Team.

Senior Housing Services Officer play a vital role in supporting the delivery of client-centred services to individuals and families who seek housing assistance or reside in public housing.

This role is part of a network of community workers and organisations that share the responsibility for working with vulnerable people to promote and support their wellbeing.

  • Coaching and mentoring.
  • Making appropriate referrals to internal and external support providers.
  • Report writing and assessments such as the Housing Tool Box.
  • Ministerial, memorandums, dot points and appeals.
  • Liaising with stakeholders.
  • Allocation of work to team members.
  • Implementing and introducing functions to the team.
