Position Details
THE ROLE
Disability Homes Victoria is initiating a time limited project to plan and deliver a direct resident engagement project with over 2,500 residents living in Supported Disability Accommodation (SDA). The Engagement Coordination Lead will be working to ensure that all residents are provided with contemporary information relating to their home and the service they receive from the Department in accessible formats that is responsive to their needs. The Engagement Coordination Lead plays a central role in the engagement establishment, design, and delivery. Leading a small team, the Engagement Coordination Lead will be responsible for managing the project delivery including coordination, governance, procurement, planning, logistics, and reporting. The Engagement Coordination Lead will work with teams across Disability Homes Victoria (DHV) and external stakeholders, such as Supported Independent Living Providers. The role will also be responsible for supporting and delivering the training of staff attending home visits, ensuring processes and plans are working as designed, and that all materials are finalised and recorded as appropriate.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Develop, use and maintain systems, tools, and processes that enable the project engagement to be delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Develop key relationships with project partners within the branch and work collaboratively and pro-actively to build and maintain positive relationships with key external stakeholders, including DHV's residents, to deliver the project.
- Lead a team of Engagement Officers to engage with SDA residents, families and stakeholders.
