Position Details
THE ROLE
The purpose of this position is to support the implementation of a range of tasks associated with quality assurance, practice compliance and systemic improvement in relation to people with complex needs and forensic disability. This is achieved through analysis of issues and preparation of practice guidance and advice. The role is also responsible for liaison with external bodies and ensuring information requested is responded to in a timely manner.
This position provides subject-matter expertise and leadership in the support of programs across complex needs and forensic disability programs, working closely with other relevant teams within the department and other departments and external funded agencies. It also will be required to provide support to ad hoc and large-scale projects that occur within the complex needs and forensic disability unit.
The role operates within a complex and dynamic environment that requires capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
Core to being successful will be your experience and knowledge in project management and program support, your ability to understand new subject matter quickly, demonstrate appropriate initiative, and produce high-quality advice.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Ensure operations and practice initiatives meet the department's strategic directions for managing and delivering high quality services.
- Formulate compliance and evaluation strategies to address specific issues related to the effective provision and implementation of required outcomes.
- Work closely with funded providers of the department to ensure high quality services are provided to those with complex needs and/or forensic disability needs.
