THE ROLE
Working across a multi-disciplinary team, you will support policy, planning and program administration for programs and initiatives to improve economic inclusion and participation through community support, financial capability development, concessions and food relief. More broadly, the role will contribute to the work of the Community Inclusion, Veterans and Youth Branch in Disability, Fairness and Emergency Management Division.
Reporting to the Manager, Economic Inclusion, the role works across government and with key partners to operationalise equity and inclusion, build the capability of government to understand the drivers and results of poverty and disadvantage, and respond to the needs of nearly every intersection of the Victorian community.
The role operates within a complex and dynamic environment that requires capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
Core to being successful will be your experience and knowledge in project and policy design or implementation, your ability to understand new subject matter quickly, demonstrate appropriate initiative, produce high-quality products, and conceptual and analytical abilities.
