Position Details

THE ROLE

The Manager – Infrastructure will lead on the delivery of the infrastructure portfolio on behalf of Family Safety Victoria.  The role is responsible for overseeing the establishment of The Orange Door physical premises at Sunshine, and the extension of the Barwon and Mildura Orange Door sites, as well as the infrastructure of the core and cluster refuge implementation across the state and other crisis accommodation, as part of its family violence reform program.

Reporting to the Director, Service Implementation and Support, the position will work in partnership with key stakeholders across government to oversee the infrastructure and IT infrastructure (The Orange Door) and applying robust project and risk management methodologies to support successful delivery and ensuring alignment of infrastructure project planning.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  1. Manage a team to deliver coordination and oversight of all infrastructure projects across The Orange Door program of work and the refuge core and cluster refuge implementation, including sourcing, design, fit out and handover of physical premises and IT infrastructure (The Orange Door).
  2. Provide leadership, to undertake a range of activities, including the review of plans and products and undertaking site visits, as required to support the effective delivery of infrastructure projects.
  3. Ensure alignment of infrastructure project planning and delivery with the overarching implementation plan and area based implementation plans.
