THE ROLE
Manager Benefits Realisation
The Manager, Benefits Realisation is critical to the provision of specialist financial management services focusing on benefit realisation, delivering automated financial reporting and being the Homes Victoria lead for the audit of capital programs as part of the annual financial audit conducted by the Victorian Auditor-General's Office.
The Manager, Benefits Realisation will lead the financial monitoring and oversight of financial benefits realisation including for the significant asset transformation program in Homes Victoria focussed on the operationalisation of the asset development pipeline and lifecycle strategies, in addition to developing system-based solutions to provide timely and meaningful PNFC financial reports for stakeholders responsible for managing large commercial portfolios.
The Manager, Benefits Realisation will work closely with the Homes Victoria Executive Leadership Team, Senior Leadership Team and the Department's Corporate Finance area.
Are you
- an experienced financial and budget manager with a strong track record in tracking benefits realisation.
- a finance expert who understands data structures, chart of accounts, reporting systems with a track record in delivering reporting solutions for multiple stakeholders.
- a leader who is passionate and have a track record of driving continuous improvement to lift the quality of all financial processes and outputs in line with accounting standards, best practice and audit advice.
- a finance leader with audit experience to lead engagement with the Victoria Auditor-General's Office.
- collaborative, a problem solver and work with an inquisitive mindset, either independently or as part of a team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Reporting to the Director PNFC Financial Management, the newly established role of Manager Benefits Realisation is responsible for:
- lead the financial monitoring and oversight of financial benefits realisation across the Homes Victoria PNFC
- leading strategic asset financial management including active monitoring of the operationalisation of asset pipeline and lifecycle strategies.
- developing system-based solutions to provide timely and meaningful PNFC financial reports for executives responsible for managing large commercial portfolios and other key stakeholders.
