Position Details
THE ROLE
The Property Transaction Officer is responsible for the Purchase, Sale and Leasing of Land owned, controlled, or managed by Homes Victoria or the Secretary of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. The role involves the Purchase, Sale, Leasing and completion of all administrative functions associated with the transaction and settlement of a property contract.

- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act, Victorian Government Land Transaction Policy, the role of the Valuer Generals Office and general property law?
- Able to demonstrate skills in project management, property transactions and property administration?
- Good at researching, preparing, and executing reports and briefings and/or technical specifications for property projects?
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Support the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet, and agency submissions.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
