Position Details
THE ROLE
The Manager, Homelessness Activity Funding Team leads a team that plays a key role in the strategic oversight and management of homelessness funded activities and services commissioned by the Homelessness and Housing Support Branch. The team provides detailed analysis and authoritative advice on funded homelessness and housing support activities, coordinates and oversees agency funding distribution and use, develops funding models, costed service models and output unit prices that inform investment decisions, provides support in budget bid cycle through business case submission costings, contributes to program implementation and service evaluation activities, and provides regular agency and program-level funding and service delivery insights and advice though a focus on innovation, driving change and with a focus on outcomes for clients.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide strategic advice to inform policies, projects, investment decisions or initiatives and to enable effective decision making and achievement of outcomes.
- Provide expert advice and services to branch colleagues and stakeholders with respect to output unit pricing and service model costing, ensuring service models and unit prices developed are financially sustainable, represent value-for-money, closely aligned with the program objectives and statutory obligations; transparent and appropriately documented.
- Develop and maintain effective monitoring and quality improvement initiatives to meet the strategic directions for the delivery of existing homelessness and housing support services.
