Position Details
THE ROLE
The Principal Project Manager role will manage a collaborative and innovative team of principal advisers providing guidance and mentorship to foster excellence within the team, oversee and manage a range of multi-disciplinary teams and consultancies across one or more of the following areas: the development of funding structures and commercial development models, the translation of social and procurement policies and initiatives into clear implementation requirements and the development of delivery and investment. Having a comprehensive understanding of compliance and risk, you play a crucial role in safeguarding project integrity, promoting accountability, and contributing to overall client satisfaction within the maintenance sector.
The Principal Project Manager will have program oversight and responsibility for delivering the Government's agenda of substantially increasing social and affordable housing in Victoria as part of the $5 billion Big Housing Build through provision of expert advice to Homes Victoria delivery, and third-party partners. This includes developing financial structures, financial analysis, commercial transactions, deal structuring (including tax, legal, security and financial), commercial negotiations and stakeholder management.

- Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Pro-actively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
