Position Details

THE ROLE

An exciting leadership opportunity exists for a highly experienced and specialised Contract and Delivery Specialist within the Large Scale Partnerships team, Housing Development Branch at Homes Victoria. Reporting to the Director – Large Scale Partnerships, the Contract and Delivery Specialist will be accountable for leading the successful delivery of the Ground Lease Model Project – South Yarra, Prahran, Hampton East and Port Melbourne (also known as GLM2). This is a critical leadership role that will provide strong leadership and be for both the commercial and technical management of the project from enabling works through to completion and transition to operations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE 

  • Lead and manage a complex Ground Lease Model project under the HVHR and Partnerships Victoria frameworks within the approved budget and scope, to the agreed timeframe, in accordance with Government policy frameworks and to the highest standards of project governance and management.
  • Lead a project team comprising VPS staff and external consultants to provide authoritative, strategic and expert advice on a range of complex project design and technical issues and commercial and operations matters.
  • Effectively engage and negotiate with contractors to achieve project objectives and outcomes and manage interface risks.

As of June 2023, DFFH does not require evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status.
