The Senior Land and Property Adviser role presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity to help deliver the $5.3 billion Big Housing Build, Australia's largest-ever investment in social and affordable housing. This role's focus is the advancement of social and affordable housing projects on surplus or underutilised government land.

You will identify and assess potential development sites through detailed analysis, and undertaking due diligence and feasibility assessments. You will also identify land assembly requirements, and manage risks, liaise with landholding agencies and assist with facilitating valuation instructions and applying the requirements of the Victorian Government Land Transaction Policy.

Well-developed skills in managing land assembly issues and understanding of property development drivers, including Title and Planning matters is required. Experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with state government landholding agencies, is key. Well-development project management skills are essential, along with attention to detail and the ability to create and maintain accurate records


  1. Identify and assess potential sites relating to the Big Housing Build program, with a focus on surplus or under-utilised government land.
  2. Assist with the development of the property portfolio pipeline in the short, medium and long term, including funding and approval requirements
  3. Complete assessments of identified sites to identify key property details, potential land assembly requirements or third-party risks.
