The Senior Policy and Project Officer Strategic Partnerships (Community Housing Partnerships) is responsible for contributing to Homes Victoria's industry engagement with the community housing sector to improve social and affordable housing outcomes for Victorians.

The Senior Policy and Project Officer will have experience in building relationships and negotiation with external and internal stakeholders and will build trusted relationships with key leaders in the Community Housing sector. These partnerships will ensure that we complement work undertaken across Homes Victoria and foster strong partnerships with the Community. Our role is to ensure the Housing sector is informed about the work and reforms underway in Homes Victoria while providing opportunities for input into the design of strategies and compacts between the Homes Victoria and the community housing sector.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  1. Identify, develop, secure and manage strategic partnerships with the community housing sector to build sustainable and meaningful relationships to support social and affordable housing outcomes for Victorians.
  2. Monitor and report on high priority issues, risks and trends and prepare and present reports, ministerial briefs, Cabinet and agency submissions.
  3. Support programs designed to promote the capacity of the community housing sector, working with the sector to design key initiatives and monitor progress against agreed timeframes and budgets.
