Position Details

About the role: 

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) provides a central point of leadership for digital transformation and ICT programs and the portfolio of technology projects, governed by the Executive Board. The position will actively involved in key domains inlcuding  digital innovation; enterprise architecture & ICT asset management; ICT investment management and funding; corporate applications, platforms, infrastructure, and technology development and project delivery, data services including reporting, data collection and information management.

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute enterprise-wide IT strategies aligned with organisational goals preferably in a public sector context
  • Experience driving digital transformation and innovation and a strong understanding of IT governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and optimising technology investments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to influence at executive and board levels
  • Proven capability in leading large, diverse IT teams across infrastructure, applications, and digital services.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale organisational change initiatives
  • Strong capability in managing resistance, aligning stakeholders, and embedding continuous improvement.
