Position Details

About the role: 

The primary focus of the Manager, Infrastructure Pipeline, is to lead the development and implementation of a coherent and adaptable infrastructure investment pipeline that shapes health system infrastructure decisions in Victoria  by integrating complex data and insights. The role will collaborate with teams across the Department of Health and key internal and external stakeholders to identify and plan programs and projects that address health system priorities and risks. The role is also responsible for overseeing the development of effective data tools, systems and frameworks that will underpin the strategic prioritisation that makes up the health infrastructure pipeline.

About you:

  • Technical expert in the development of data tools to support prioritisation, especially expertise in database management, integration with other systems and automated reporting such as with PowerBi.
  • Extensively experienced with government infrastructure projects including briefings, business cases or other artefacts to support investment decisions.
  • An indepth understanding of the health system, health infrastructure projects or health service delivery requirements would be highly regarded.
  • Your qualifications related to data systems, capital planning (e.g., architecture, engineering), project management or clinical planning and a relevant post graduate qualification would be highly regarded.
