POSITION SUMMARY:

Multiple Roles

Supporting and leading both general and ICT procurement and funding projects, one of the key purposes of the Senior Procurement Officer role is to drive VFM/cost effective outcomes to customers for the Department.  The position also provides high level procurement advice and support to a diverse range of customers, leads and provides effective relationship management services and ensures compliant procurement and funding outcomes for its customers.

The Procurement Management unit is responsible for providing consistent support, advice and direction across the department on procurement, contract management and funding policies, processes and practices. This unit also leads and supports complex procurement processes through strategic planning, sourcing (tendering and quotations) and analysis and recommendations of potential providers, in compliance with all procurement policy and process requirements.

The Senior Procurement Officer position is responsible for driving VFM/cost effective ICT and general procurement and funding outcomes, leading complex procurement and funding projects. The position is also responsible for providing high level procurement and funding advice and support to a diverse range of key stakeholders as well as maintaining cross-functional relationships

Mandatory Vaccination Policy
