VPS5 Senior Program Officer, Rural Health Performance - Hume x 2 positions

Salary range: $102,637 to $124,183 plus Super

The Senior Program Advisor is responsible for monitoring rural health service performance across a range of program areas and for identifying and supporting responses to new and emerging issues and risks related to the performance, quality and governance of rural and regional health services and rural health more broadly. The Senior Program Adviser also contributes to range of strategic priorities and improvement projects that support the delivery of high-quality services.

The role involves developing effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including health service executives and a range of program and policy areas within the department.

The role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, can balance a range of tasks and has a drive to improve healthcare for rural and regional communities.
