Position Details

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Project Manager, Project Initiation High Value High Risk (HVHR), will be a highly focused and driven professional who is passionate about contributing to the delivery of public infrastructure to drive exceptional outcomes.  You must have experience in health or social infrastructure delivery, preferably within a government environment, working effectively within a complex multi-disciplinary environment, communicating with a range of stakeholders and delivering high quality public infrastructure on time and budget.

Reporting to the Director, Project Initiation High Value High Risk Projects, the Senior Project Manager will support the initiation phase from planning to delivery of key high value high risk projects, working to ensure projects best place to meet quality, program and budget requirements consistent with the VHBA Project Management Framework.

You will operate in a fast paced, performance focused workplace with a high level of autonomy.

In addition, you will demonstrate skills and experience in:

  • Project management, with proven skills in delivering project outcomes within specific timelines;
  • A variety of procurement models;
  • High level interpersonal and written communication, consultation and negotiation skills, a proven ability to cut across traditional demarcations, as well as make considered judgements about and articulate complex issues at senior levels within the public and private sectors in a timely manner.
