Position Details

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Executive Director, Developments is accountable for delivering the development of health, mental health and aged care projects from masterplan, feasibility to business case that support international best practice in the delivery of health service outcomes. To achieve this, they will be responsible for overseeing a growing budget for development of $30m.

The Executive Director, Developments will lead the development of project investment pipelines encompassing billion-dollar precinct redevelopments, new hospitals, and community facilities. They will help define the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) and Department of Health's priorities to maximise health outcomes for the people of Victoria. The role leads critical stakeholder engagement, strategic and operational leadership for capital development initiatives. The Executive Director, Developments will develop and oversee the process of master planning and feasibility including project formulation, project viability assessment, project planning/programming, procurement options, financial feasibility, and full business cases to deliver sound investment decisions to government.
