About the role: 

The Project Manager is responsible for activities that support project development, design, delivery and integration with the wider health system, in collaboration with stakeholders. This includes articulating project requirements during project development and managing requirements through delivery to ensure that intended benefits are realised and will represent the department in various forums and discussions, taking account of and understanding the perspective of all stakeholders

About you:

Are you a project manager who:

  • Has strong technical skills in project delivery, change management and continuous improvement
  • Can apply a system lens to project requirements, risks and issues to understand the wider context
  • Builds collaborative relationships and forges constructive partnerships to enable projects to deliver fully on requirements?
  • posesses an understanding of health infrastructure or health service delivery that would be highly beneficial to the role. 
  • Strong and engaging interpersonal and stakeholder management skills will be key to success in the role, as will experience in establishing and managing change control processes for major projects.
